About
I’m Thomas Duforest. But I go by the name of Tom Forest.
I think in systems, build in code, and operate at the edge of what AI makes possible today. I’m not waiting to see where this goes — I’m trying to be one of the people who decides.
I started as player, then coach to build a business around it. And somewhere along the way, I became more obsessed with the infrastructure behind the work than the work itself — the systems, the automation, the question of how one person can do what used to take a team.
That obsession became Cyatlan — an AI-powered platform I’m building from the ground up. It’s ambitious, it’s technical, and it’s mine. Not a side project. A bet.
I’m analytical by nature and relentless by choice. I work late, think long, and don’t do things halfway. I care about frameworks not because they sound smart, but because they’re the only thing that scales — ideas without structure just stay ideas.
I write about this stuff too. Not to build an audience for the sake of it, but because thinking in public forces precision. If I can’t explain the framework, I don’t understand it yet.
Building something that matters. Thinking clearly about hard problems. Leaving behind work that holds up.
That’s the standard I hold myself to. Everything else follows from there.
French. Global mindset. Permanently in builder mode.
